The market for ABA services has become a multi-billion dollar industry.
This is in response to market demand for evidence based approaches to improving the human experience through socially significant behavior change, and the result of lots of commitment and hard work by researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, academics, advocates, and other important stakeholders and allies.
As of 2023, there are probably somewhere around 6000 ABA therapy provider companies in the USA alone, with many Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certificants in the industry that meaningfully impact the healthcare market and economy.
With rapid growth, the landscape will surely change – but the positive impact on patients and others we serve (and the economy) will continue to skyrocket!
I feel the interplay between ABA and tech is one of the next major changes on the horizon. What’s the most significant change you expect to see?
