📣 It’s important for ABA companies to prioritize advocacy efforts at both the individual and collective level.

👍 At the individual level, companies must strive for the best provider climate and conditions to ensure successful outcomes for their clients.

📢 However, collective advocacy efforts at regional or state levels are often needed to address local provider issues. Although national trade associations or professional organizations may not be positioned to represent all different local interests all the time, they can definitely be important allies in the process!

⚡ It’s important to approach collective advocacy efforts cautiously. Some state or regional professional organizations may help with related activities, and doing so through trade associations can create effective operational structures amongst providers, and help address regulatory and funder issues in a way that can also help reduce liability and ensure compliance with important laws such as anti-trust.

👉 It is essential to prioritize both individual and collective advocacy efforts to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients and providers alike.
